A couple of Olympic hopefuls practicing their routine down at the duck pond. They could really use a good coach if they want to get past the regional competitions.
They could really use some water as well, but not well water. Also appear rather cautious of the ice. I've never seen them on ice, but I sure know the feeling re picking your steps. Very nice, Wendell...and they look well fed.
As a retired skating coach, they need some work on unison & looks like he's getting ready for a toe loop jump, lol. Really a super shot and it's fun watching them walk on ice.
Now I'm just guessing, Wendell, that she's Brinker on the left and her husband Hans is on the right? It's easy to skate when you weigh just a few pounds. Of the three photos I like this one the best because you captured them doing something different than the standard water and shore photos. I mean, they're good photos but this one is unique. Thanks.
If you've ever wanted to make a difference but found it hard to believe that one person could... check out the Kiva Team Caedes discussion thread and discover that anything is possible.

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
