Lol, great candid shot. I have four of these ceremonies to attend in the next two weeks, my expressions may be worse. I'll have to look out for candid photographers panning the crowd.

And several months (and possibly years) after graduation, is this kid going to be defined by the phrase he uses at work? "Do you want fries with that?" Then again, some of the kids who go through high school with a "don't-give-a-s**t-attitude" do so because they are bored with school because it's too easy. My oldest was that way but I have no clues about this guy except the wee bit of insight you've given us. You've a good eye to see and capture a little slice of life here, thanks.

Aha! I've got it - The guy is putting his legs out just as she stands up and looks off into space innocently enough... while she stares him down to let him no that she doesn't find that funny and he best not be foolin' around and go trippin' her on her way up... I can read that in her face :)
