So as promised here is the first image from the tide pools that I mentioned about the textures there at Natural Bridges State Park near Santa Cruz,Ca.I caught part of my shoes in the image but decided to leave them in for size reference. I hope it helps:):) This particular type stone covers an area about 20' x 50' in size roughly:) Enjoy. P.S. For every image posted by my friends, I would love it if you send me the coordinates from where the image was taken on all your post's- such as I have been doing recently. Do not do it if you do not want me to know though:):)

This is the best texture image I have seen thus far.
As far as giving you coordinates as to where the photo is taken: I hardly know where I'm at, let alone the photo. I'm not sure my camera gives the coordinates.

I was just at a beach on the Gulf Coast and it had some nice scenes and textures but nothing at all like this. Wow! Those really are some amazing shapes you've captured, Bruce, and I think leaving something in like your shoe is a good idea for scale, otherwise I would never have figured out how you shot this, from a foot away or from a hot air balloon. That being said, however, since tan is the predominate color and there are many small rounded shapes in there, I wonder how it would have worked to take off one of your shoes and place the toes of your foot in the photo. They would have blended in pretty well, obvious only to the viewer hunting for them. Then you could have said that there's a scale in the photo but we have to look close to find it. Locating and identifying the scale as your toes would have been a hoot on top of the uniqueness of your photo. F&S. bd
