Bruce, your otherwise beautiful, render reminds me of a moulting parrot.
In that case, I don't rule out that its fallen feathers have been used by you as an example for this inventive artwork.

Oh my goodness, this is a winner in my book. tigs=^..^=

I was classically educated in college as a fine artist, with all the traditional disciplines, and incorporated that experience in my career as a designer and photographer, so I tend to look at artwork like this in terms of best uses practices. The Parakeet Pointe outdoor environment (free flying parakeets, about 50 of them) at the Audubon Aquarium of the Americas in New Orleans, is a fun place in a great aquarium (with obviously more than just fish), but it is a bit plain out there, with a screened surround so the birds do not disappear, and leafless trees and branches for them to perch on (when they are not perched on the humans, that is). There is a single solid wall that is the outer wall of the aquarium but it needs something to spice it up with imagery and color. Your artwork, Bruce, looks a lot like ceramic tiles, and this, reproduced as one-foot tiles running across that wall would be the perfect spice for that room and most appropriate with the shapes and feathers.
