Bruce, I see the markings of a 'chopper' landing spot on deck of a huge futuristic (navy) ship.

When I read ^iris^ I thought of an opening, like an eye. In this case a bomb sight because the center here looks a helluva lot like a crosshairs. But I am weird that way.
