I have wanted to visit this place just southeast of Mammoth Lakes for about 3 years now. I finally got the chance a month ago and took 2 of my grand sons with me. We were not disappointed:):)!! There are a lot of place on the internet describing these so go for it:) The boys thought it was awesome. Enjoy if you can:) The cliff here is about 25' high.

Man, this is some of the wildest geology I've ever seen (and considering my career, I've seen a lot). Returning to California to visit my old Navy base (that's U.S. Navy, not Old Navy) is on my bucket list, so I may simply have to fav this hummer so's I can add it to my travel list. Thanks for sharing it, Bruce.
