Taken Winter 2018 with a Pixel 2XL phone. Raven Rock State Park is located on the Cape Fear River near Lillington, NC. When I was a prolific runner, I ran many miles through the woods at this park. My phone was my main capture tool for the interesting things I saw while running. The original photo was not all that it could be, and even after several hours of editing, I'm still not sure its reached its full potential. But, there is something in it that just won't allow me to let this one go. My friends, please identify one thing you like and one thing that could be improved in this image. I'll use those comments down the road to work on it some more. Thank you for your assistance with this project.

Chris, I admire your striving for perfection, but sometimes it's better leaving things as they are. Your beautiful photograph is a good example of this. Better results could possibly be achieved with a different type of camera and lens, but that's not the point in my humble opinion. The exuded atmosphere is decisive here. And I think this couldn't be any better!

Not sure what to say other than it has a great lead in, and for a phone capture, I just don't know what you could do to make any better. The sun rays are in perfect position to light up the path. Pretty darn cool I think. tigs=^..^=

Another title might be... "God? Is that You?"
While photographers normally try to avoid lens flares, in this particular case it works well, creating an ethereal feel to the image, and one of a decidedly inviting nature. Two thumbs (and my cowlick) up!
