Another view of the windmill on the Norfolk Broads. Again i was at a disadvantage because of the lack of natural contrast on this dull day but i have made the best of it that i can.

Quite often blue skies and undiluted sunlight will throw shadows so strong as to hide part of what you're trying to capture. I recently shot photos of water coming out of the spillway gates at a local dam and the water, traveling at 75 mph, was frothing white. The bright sunlit day only served to completely wash out the texture of the flying streams of water. I plan to return to reshoot the scene when it's a day like the one you had when you shot this photo. Without the overcast we wouldn't get to see as much of this windmill and its character would be different. I happen to like this one (and your first one as well) for that reason and also for the angle at which you took it. There are lots of windmill photos on Caedes but I don't recall seeing any like this one. Thanks for sharing it.
