Almost put this in the photography/places of worship gallery as it certainly is for me! What can i say, im a girl and i love shoes! Wanted a brief rest from my endless selection of landscapes of which i have many!

I would have thought 'Diamonds' then 'Chocolates' come before Shoes!...lol

I had a similar one on here before I took my previous gallery down!..Must hunt it out for a re-post!

I was expecting diamonds, but I like your take on this much better. Great idea shooting the window full of shoes. You have a photographer's eye - always looking for your next excellent shot. Nicely focused shot of the shoes. I have the same pair - the ones in the lower left. Still I like your landscapes.

They look kind of clunky to be worn as engagement rings. But what do I know from fashion? An interesting find and good presentation, Rachel. Good lighting in the scene.

Hey, wait a minute, I thought a diamond was a girl's best friend? When I first saw this as a thumbnail I thought you'd produced a segmented, chronological sequence of one image, but enlarging it makes for a pretty cool and unique image. When I go shopping for shoes it's white tennies, black dress, or brown work shoes (hiking boots is an entirely separate and holy acquisition). With all the selections of shoes out there, dear girl, how ever do you manage? 8P

My mother loves shoes. She is 88 and her love for them has not diminished at all. She would love this shot.
