When we visited Glacier National Park in 2010, arriving there on August 30th, we found that 4" of snow had fallen at Logan Pass, the high mid-point on Going-To-The-Sun Highway that crosses the park from east to west. So I'm not surprised this isn't a winter photo (although the yellow and reddish leaves of these bushes in the foreground makes me think it might be early fall?). I have yet to see a photo of Banff that wasn't a beauty and that's what places it on my bucket list.
If you've ever wanted to make a difference but found it hard to believe that one person could... check out the Kiva Team Caedes discussion thread and discover that anything is possible.
I like the opening in the bushes so I can see the beauty beyond.
Happy Easter.
