I'm not exactly sure how old this picture of my Father is, but it was probably taken somewhere around 1944-1945. He served in WW2. He was born in London, England, but lived most of his life in Ohio, USA. He died in January of 1988, two months shy of his 80th birthday. I still miss him. He was a great man, and a great Dad.

Happy Father's Day to all the Dads.

How wonderful you have this photo of your Dad Jimbo. We all have reminders of our Fathers. My biological father was missing in action in Germany for years, then I began a search for him, eventually my 'half sister' whom I didn't know I had, found me, and we realized we had the same father. He had remarried, to her Mom. Then I wrote him, but it turned out he passed away suddenly, so I never got to meet him. My Mom and "new father" the Dad that raised me, became the only Dad I ever knew. He was and is a wonderful man. My Mom passed away last December, and now he is alone. I hope and pray he will be around a while. He's always taken such good care of her and me. A wonderful Dad.(altho he lives far away from me) Verena
