A CORNISH LIGHTHOUSE

During stormy weather this Cornish lighthouse is exposed to the full fury of the Atlantic and was originally manned by a rotation of three keepers who would have lived, two at a time, in the adjoining cottage which you can see in the picture….in the 1930s it became automatic, fuelled by solar power since 1995…..It was this lighthouse that inspired Virginia Wolfe to write her novel ‘To the Lighthouse’….Please enjoy.

What a dramatic coastline with the lonely lighthouse standing just off shore. I very much like the contrast between the blue deep blue choppy sea and the brown-green color of the barren rocky land..Excellent work Mick!

the framing is excellent, i agree with others who said that-- and i think part of what makes the colors so special is that the lighthouse looks just like the color of the waves themselves, very cool.
