Behind the daffodils you are viewing a church that was built in 1768 on the site of a previous one… The churchyard has been managed in a way that it cares for the wildlife that has made it their home, and in a way that encourages wild flowers to flourish….I have to say a big thankyou for the love and disciplined dedication of those who take care of it….The churchyard receives many visitors each year by people researching their family history….Please enjoy.

I love the contrast of the cheerful daffodils in the foreground to the darkened grounds behind. A lovely and peaceful setting.

I have to admit that I instantly thought of the wildwood of the WInd in the Willows, but this is so much nicer! Beautiful!
