Silhouetted against the rising sun,these gravestones I think create a powerful effect…..This graveyard is adjacent to a busy road. Yet, within a few steps of the gate, visitors are instantly aware of the peace and tranquility of this ecclesiastical site. It is dominated by the parish church which is not in the picture and benches are available for anyone who wishes to sit in cntemplation.....Please enjoy.

A beautiful and rather mysterious shot. I find it especially interesting because the cemeteries I have been to are so different in style (gravestones and natural surroundings), history and...uh...how do I put this...content. Gosh, that sounds weird. How old is this graveyard anyway?
