I had the unique opportunity to have private access to a bird of prey centre to photograph their magnificent birds of prey in all their glory…… Many of the birds have been injured in the wild and nursed back to health in the centre; they now have a safe haven to live the rest of their lives….This photograph is the first of a few that I captured……Please enjoy.

How lucky you and the birds are to have such a place Mick.
A great shot out of the chute as they say.
Detail, especially the eye, is perfect.

Great work Mick, isn't it exciting to be able to get so close to them, we have the same type of Wildlife Hospital here in Missouri.

Wonderful capture Mick. Think it has to 'discover' a lot of new things in the bird of prey centre. Thinks therefore it looks that amazed to your camera.
