I have no idea what sort of experience level you are at, Lauren, or what kind of camera you are using, so I'll just take a shot in the dark. The best way to shoot through a screen is to use a short Depth of Field. Getting in a bit closer and setting your f-stop as low as the camera will allow will make the screen disappear and give the background a lovely bokeh effect. Just a thought, and welcome to Caedes.
