Kakanui, New Zealand. . . . . . I walked along this beach today remembering our friend who so loved the sea. I think she would have liked this view of the late afternoon sun on the waves . . . Dedicated to Verena, remembering her friendship, her artistry and poetry and her ability to see beauty all around her. She touched many lives and hearts.

You're right Lyn, Verena loved the beach, the ocean and all the beauty around her. She loved sharing all those things with us too. It's still hard to believe she has passed away.We all will miss her dearly.
Thanks for this great tribute.
Regards, Cornelius.

Oh Lyn... I'm certain this will delight Verena! I'm especially loving the late afternoon lighting, and the background scene looks almost surreal in the warm tones! A most beautiful composition and tribute for our friend! Faved.

Wow...absolutely perfect. I can picture my mom setting her chair up there, with her camera, and her car parked next to her with Chris Isaak music playing thru the sea air. That's all she really needed...and that was paradise to her.... :)
