"Did you ever see an unhappy horse? Did you ever see bird that had the blues? One reason why birds and horses are not unhappy is because they are not trying to impress other birds and horses." - Dale Carnegie
Taken at my local harbour with Panasonic DMC FZ28. Thanks for your views and any comments :)

Exceptions are parrots and swans - when one partner dies you can practically see how unhappy the other partner is Lyn. Lovely shot of the gulls sunning.

A happy gull is a potential bomber, LE. I am glad to see these are not airborne.

FZ28? That's an older camera is it not? Can't remember. The FZ's are a great group of cameras. Love the birds.

They are, however, eying you, figuring you could be an easy mark for a snack. Once you start feeding these oinkers though, it's impossible to stop. I once watching a poor woman, at a lighthouse on the north point of Michigan's south peninsula, make the mistake of feeding one. within one minute she was running for her car, followed by a swarm of hungry gulls, about 200 is my estimate. Can you say "Alfred Hitchcock?"
