Driving home through the Waitaki Valley is often spectacular at sunset, and is one of my favourite drives. This is two photos stitched together and they were taken with Panasonic DMC FZ7, which I no longer have. I have worked on it off and on over a couple of years and decided now is time to let it go - it will never look as good as it was in reality. Hope you may enjoy it. Comments welcome.

Lyn - How fortuitous that you captured these photos as you drove off the road! lol The scene is so pretty that I'd have a difficult time concentrating on driving. Clouds backlit, mountains aglow, soft reflections on the water, and beautiful fields with grazing animals - God's grace for sure! Thad

"Spectacular" is the operative word here, Lyn. So is "Favorite." As in "I'm putting a copy of this spectacular photo in my favorite(s) file." The highway, shoulder, verge, fenceline, dirt road, pasture, lake, mountains, clouds, and border flow as line after line, that gold cloud being the centerpiece of this one. Very high marks in the voting booth, and a nomination.
