This is the last of my Steampunk shots.(for now, there are many more photos still to be taken)
This dirigible was installed beside the Steampunk HQ last year and measures seven metres long. The pylons supporting it are insulators which were once part of a power project in the Waitaki Valley.
A SteampunkNZ Festival will be held in the town in May 2013.
I am pleased some of you have enjoyed these curiosities and thank you for your comments :)

There are so many retro images in here, from the architecture to the logo on the dirigible, that it would fit many tastes. It certainly does for me.
