We were hoping for a tail display by the Peacocks at Riverstone on our recent visit but I think it was to hot for them to be bothered. This one found a nice cool retreat and was happy to pose for a photo.
That this bird did not strut its' stuff for you actually resulted in a more unique photo...not every day you see one in this setting and so close...so a great shot, Lyn.

I was actually thinking how it was nice to see one doing something other than filling out its fan. From the closed eyes I can tell it's completely at ease... a good time for a portrait.
