Lyn, I've checked-out the link and have read: "In Māori tradition the remarkable spherical boulders on Moeraki beach are eel pots, or baskets of kūmara (sweet potato) washed ashore from the Ārai-te-uru voyaging canoe. To scientists the boulders are concretions, formed around 60 million years ago from sediment and calcite."
Perfect capture of this natural phenomenon!

Nature provides many such scenes. This one is especially beautiful, as if an artist carefully placed each boulder to create this balanced array. A great capture.

Having seen a variety of views of these "Moyer-ack-ee" boulders, Lyn (yup, I watched the video and, actually, the narrator says the name almost at the beginning, a couple times), I have to wonder how long it will be before you succumb to Manic Monday, Wacky Wednesday, or Freaky Friday and draw some low-lidded eyes on them (particularly at this angle), just above the sand, making them look like long-lost (you wish they would stay that way) relatives, rising out of the sea to visit for a month.
