My mother used to have an oval ceramic brooch, with a Rose in the center of it, many years ago. Your photo and presentation is the spitting image of that brooch.

Lyn, your presentation resembles the pretty usual style of ancient portrait photography. The major differences now are that it's not a depicted person (who had to hold his breath in order not to move because fast shutter speeds weren't possible at the time) but a wonderful tulip, and the monotone color isn't sepia but a mesmerizing color. Perfect work again!
If you think you can't accept something, try to change it. But if this doesn't work, don't be frustrated, but give it later another try. The one who perseveres wins!
