Kiama Goldfields, Snowy Mountains, Australia. Europe, Asia, South America, have massive castle ruins or jungle shrouded pyramids or whatnot. Australia has sun hardened redgum fence posts and rusting wire tangles.
And Australia has someone who can showcase it very well. Very nice! Thinking aloud...if you have the option to take the picture again, it will be good to see one with a larger depth of field keeping everything in reasonable focus.
Wow you are a frequent traveller. It must be pretty hot under the sun. It's ironic that the place called Snowy Mountains but the sun is rusting the wire :)
Good work. I admire your ability to make the sky blue....
I'm not that good in using words like you did yesterday in your comment on my 'Bare Trees Reflections' image, Mikel, but believe me, it's a rather hard job to make from such a desolated area a very good image. You've succeeded in doing this. My compliments friend!
Regards, Cornelius.
Beautiful colours and like the composition Mikel. Really like the textures that the old fence post has with the old rusted wire. Careful not to cut yourself around that rusted wire.
Nice Mikel, Love the detail on the fence post and wire, with the background blurred out. I don't know anything about the person who made that fence but it sure looks like they worked hard at wrapping that wire around that post.
Isn't amazing that we love fenceposts and old rusty wires?! I love the rusty colours against the 'bloo' sky!! And then the way you composed the textures of the rocks, the dried grasses, the wood on the fence post..wow..it's all really perfect. Congrats!! Verena
