The foothills near the Victorian town of Corryong. In the dry areas of Australia (80% of the continent.) The farms are massive, literally hundreds of km across, but in the areas that are green you sometimes get farmland a bit crowded, like in this photo I can see 8 or 9 farmhouses, all bunched together. Not that I took the photo for that reason, I liked the way the farmland was open leading to the forested foothills and those fluffy rain clouds. If I was going to print this I'd probably clone a few things out, make it a more purely landscape scene, but for here I've left all the farm elements visible. Those kind of details help people from other countries see the small different ways we all do things, country to country.

Enjoy.

Mikel.

Excellent composition! A truly captivating wide open vista. So much to see and take in. I totally relate to the ying yang impulse to keep the scene as it is verses the notion of a purely aesthetically pleasing landscape. I enjoy both. Saved.

Excellent landscape shot Mikel. I love the way it is, pure as pure can be. Only if I had the intention to publish such a kind of image in a fairy tale book, I would clone out minor things.
Regards, Cornelius.

Beautiful farm picture, but if that is your idea of crowded, I could handle that. KEEP-PAH!

Don't clone anything out. It's prefect just the way it is. A great country scene.

A gorgeous landscape photo. I like the shadows and sharp lighting in the scene. Nicely composed and presented.

I just gave this a perfect score in the VB, Mikel. Everything left as is was perfect.

Cool photo. Other than the mountains being much smaller, this pic reminds me of a few places close to where I live in Colorado U.S.

If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary-wise; what it is it wouldn't be, and what it wouldn't be, it would. You see? ~Alice; Alice in Wonderland
