Nikoneer was curious to know what the poles on this beach were for.... This shot was taken from my first floor balcony at a small resort on the west coast of Luzon, Philippines.

Another gorgeous shoreline with rich colors in the sky, Mikel. Lumpia and Chicken Adobo are my favorite dishes to eat in the Philippines. Delicious, just like this photo. Bravo.

Hard work never killed anybody, but why take a chance?
A beautiful place, the Philippines, as your photo clearly shows. I lived and worked on this island for 5 months in 1973, in Olongapo, west of Manilla. I'm guessing the poles keep the brightly colored excursion boat in place when the tide comes in. Salamat Po!
