As a father with a son serving in Afganastan the homecoming is something of a reversal of what we see here...but ne less meaningful Thanx you for caring enough to create and share this with us.

this is a classic and should be kept as precious as the one of the sailor kissing the nurse on VJ day. Beautifully done.

This one almost makes me cry. Very beautiful. Very patriotic. Let's never forget that these men fight for us. We should never allow our people to forget they way they once did after Vietnam. God forgive us for that, and help us to remember these men's sacrifice.

Hello....This lovely presentation of a home coming it has really moved me, and not many photographs have done that, very emotional....I served for 36 years in the Royal Navy and when I was away on duty not a day went by when I was thinkng of my loved ones who I left behind.....Well done....All the very best to you...........................................Mick.
