This is part of a wall mural on a building. The mural is said to very accurately portray the wildness of the town. By 1877 Dodge had 1000 in population, 16 saloons aaaaaaand 13 religious people. Does that tell you anything?
Did the 13 religious people even have a church to worship the Lord in? Maybe it got burned down by the ruffians, then rebuilt, and burned down again. That would seem about right from what I have heard about Dodge!
Momma, this is a so much interesting series that I was curious to know more about Dodge city. I have found this on the net. To make the story complete I will provide a link of Wyatt Earp as well.
Reading the stories think that Wyatt Earp wasn't one of the 13 believers, lol.
Thanks for this wonderful continuation of this series Pat.

Great shot of the mural Pat. Your research suggests to me that 13 people got off at the wrong stop. They were probably looking for the Yuma Territorial Prison. Nothing but law & order there.
Good one....I bet you just miss those days eh!...~Chuckles~!
