Although I've never been here it's one place I want to visit, in SE Utah. I have a winter shot of this place that I found on a paleontology data CD years ago (very pixelated -- nothing like your shots). That photo was taken near the end of that "peninsula" you see on the far left (I'm pretty sure), with a light dusting of snow, and very blue because it was overcast and late in the day. A natural wonder if ever there was one.

We've driven through the area but didn't stop. It reminds me of Horseshoe Bend without color. The lack of color is what is fascinating here. I love the way you've shown the layers and the erosion. This is a remarkable shot.
