Wow.What an amazing capture Tom! I love the focal point with the lightning & the clouds &then just darkness. Way cool. There is a great color intensity here for it being a night shot! You are pretty doggone good at these lightning captures! I am impressed (and a bit jealous..lol) This makes a fantastic desktop!!!!! In my fav's on my HD & thank you :) Kudo's

Thanks, I am glad that you all enjoy this picture, I enjoy going out and taking night shots .. it is much more peaceful (except when you are near a frog infested pond. LOL)

This is really nice it is a definite 10. I tried photographing lightning once. The first one went of right above my head. I could feel the air crackle around me. Packed up my stuff and went home. Never to try again!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely fantastic shot Tom. We had an electrical storm here a while back and tried to get some shots of the electricity but it was too darn fast so I can appreciate what it took to get these shots. Also this just looks ace!

Lord have mercy. This is a one in a thousand shot. Of the many lighting photos I have seen, I believe this is tops. Yes, a great desktop. I'm going to put it there right now.
