Most of the waterfalls on the Niobrara are spring fed. This one is just a short way downstream from Berry Falls. I've never seen a name for it. The fallen tree in front of it has been there for many years. It is probably 16 feet tall.

It is a nice hidden treasure Jeff. It has lovely greenery framing it.

Spring fed? So with a simple purification kit you could help yourself to some very fresh, cool water to drink. Neato! It's interesting how white that clean spring water is in comparison to the silt-laden Niobrara. My son says when he does his "Nikobrara Float" he takes his portable bluetooth speaker along, and on one trip the dang thing fell off into the river, that brown/green water. Luckily it was in only 2 feet of depth and is waterproof ('cuz it was down there for about 15 minutes).
