I walked this trail about two years ago, but they doubled the length of it last year. It is "only" four miles long, but you change elevation 1,500 feet four times in that distance. It isn't just the sights that get your heart racing. The first part is through the woods and the first overlook of the canyon is nice, but not really spectacular. But then you take the side trail down into the canyon that includes a ladder and a "fat man's squeeze" to come to this place going along the size of a cliff. I had to get fellow hikers to pose just so you could appreciate the size of this place.

That is a bit of a wildness area, I think I would enjoy exploring those rock formations.

Okay, just how fat is too fat to get through the "fat man squeeze"? (I wear a 36, and sweating about a pound and a half every day I'm working on building 130 feet of fence in my yard and a bunch of other stuff, I'm heading for a size 34.) This is one helluva trail, Jeff, gorgeous captures with lots of variety (I have to wonder what shots from my ultra-wide 8mm Rokinon lens would capture--it pulls in 167 degrees of a scene). Keep 'em coming.

Happy Trails

If you've ever wanted to make a difference but found it hard to believe that one person could... check out the Kiva Team Caedes discussion thread and discover that anything is possible.

I got through sideways and I'm about the same size as you.
