Lincoln Nebraska's Sunken Garden was started on 1.5 acres as a depression-era project to give the needy employment. It faded over the years, but in 2003, the city of Lincoln decided to renew the park. It is now maintained by volunteers. This year's theme is "Ruby Slippers" and it is magical to walk through.

I have been to Antelope Park but had no idea this park existed. I will definitely add it to my next-visit-list, thanks, Jeff. It is gorgeous, from your photo very comparable to our International Peace Garden up here at the Canadian border.
