They opened up two new parks in my town and I had a chance to visit them yesterday evening. This was taken at Big Elk Lake, which is a misnomer. It is a pretty park, but it definitely isn't big.
Perhaps the elk who built the park is big, Jeff? JK ;o]
Bad jokes aside, there are loads of Canadian Goose photos floating around the internet, so it is those that exhibit not just good technical attributes but a unique character to set it apart from the honking crowd. All the technicals are spot-on (focus, lighting, composition, etc.), but I really like how the elongation of the log, topped by the two geese is aesthetically adaptable to a pano. The lifted leg is a bonus. Saved and faved for me.
If you've ever wanted to make a difference but found it hard to believe that one person could... check out the Kiva Team Caedes discussion thread and discover that anything is possible.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
