The difficulty in shooting yellow flowers, adding in the yellow-green of the leaves, is that yellow is the warmest of the colors, is the base color for sunlight, being in the middle of the spectrum, and is always a challenge when selecting the proper white balance on your digital camera. If your camera allows you a range of white balance selections, I would suggest shooting several photos of the same subject, changing your white balance and exposure with each one. The huge storage capacities of the cards in our cameras allows us to shoot a wide range of captures of the same scene. That way one of those copies should end up being a keeper. This is a good composition you have here but the yellow is overpowering it, even to the point of affecting the focus. Auto Levels, Exposure, and Smart Sharpen in Photoshop would have good results with this image.
