Raj - Your comment is perfect for this bird. Perhaps we can say he is so homely that he's cute. Not having seen one like this before, do you know what type of bird it is? Thad

He does look a bit strange but he has his own peculiar charm. And you have a good capture of him!

This bird looks like something from the dinosaur age to me.
Something about it's head I think.
Are it's legs banded?

It has my sympathy too. Looks like something prehistoric.

Don't tell the bird, Raj. He probably thinks he is as beautiful as a peacock. You wouldn't want to crush it's self esteem. That thing HAS to be an invader from outer space. Watch out.

It looks like a Pelidork Raj. A cross between a Pelican and a Stork. Don't sent them on baby deliveries. They are not the hottest coal in the fire.

Mine either, Raj, because it's that ugly. Hope it doesn't realize that it's not mother's finest, lol.
Good capture, my friend!

Magnificent close up of this funny looking bird. Do you know what it is? He would have been a good bird for the Harry Potter movies.

The bird sure looks like a experiment went horribly wrong. Very unusual bird, I've never seen this bird. Any idea which bird it is?
