This Image GRABBED my EYE. That's Why I Stopped By. Thanks For Sharing ! Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience
Raj - The brickwork is shown well in your capture. It looks like the rake wall is a more recent action, indicating that the roof was rebuilt at some point. Of course, with the origins in the 13th Century, there is wide latitude as to what 'more recent' might mean. Thad
It is a great photo to view and I have also enjoyed very much reading about it from your link (page translated of course:) ) Its age is simply amazing and it has such a very interesting history. Thanks Raj !
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
Thanks, Raj. The near-monochromatic coloring of the bricks and roof closely resemble your newer submission. That other one gives me the feel of a Civil War-era photograph while the colors of this one are that of a historical society documentation photo for a national register nomination... or something along those lines.

Good angle for this shot
