Is that an archaeological shadow I see on the forest floor? that long hump of soil traveling away from us through the trees? Something of historical significance, like a fortification, or the remnants of a dike?

These are large old trees, Raj. The hump must have had a function at one time, though it serves well in your photo. The dappled lighting is effective.
