Sailors have a bad reputation of being drunkards - Parrot on the shoulder and bottle of rum in the hand. This is not true. We are sober people who like just a drop or two once in a while and nothing more. If you don't believe me ask Cornelius. :)

Of course I like to confirm this Raj, because in our former career we knew perfectly our responsibility. Even nowadays two glasses with red wine is my weekly limit.
I can't deny that the behavior of some sailors has given us to a certain extent a bad reputation.
This capture made me smile however (thanks for that), because it's a perfect persiflage of the reality and a proper entry for Manic Monday.

Hey, what the heck, you managed to blend my two sons into a single dude (one's in the Navy; the other loves his beer)... well, except for the parrot (it would have been a lizard instead). Perfect for Monday and I love the inference to Cornelius. 8oDDDDDDDDD --- I was in the Navy myself so in my mind this guy is "Barnacle Bill the Sailor" (no, I will not recite the lyrics... this is a family site, after all, right?).
