Yes they do look out of place but one of todays necessities I guess. It could be said they add extra colour to the scene - and I just have to smile back at Smiley's Pizzas !

They don't go with the architecture but I think horse and carriage which would go with the buildings would not work either. A blend of modern and traditional.

So do the busses, Raj. At least I don't see anyone with their faces jammed into a smart phone, oblivious to the beautiful architecture around them.
