Male blackbird - They are too big for the feeders and so they come to pick up what has dropped and often leave their "markings" behind.

The tiles are a very unusual element for a wildlife shot. And their added warmth to an already wonderful image (pretty bird in a great pose) is extremely attractive.

As for the rest ... poop happens, my friend. Such is life. All in all, truly not a bad trade-off for the pleasure of getting to watch the bird visitors to your feeder. :)

You really need to start leaving the door open so they can use the toilet, like I taught them to, otherwise they'll just crap on the tiles. Didn't you get the memo?
