I thought yesterday was supposed to be the first day of the rest of my life but it turns out today is. (Steve Martin)
With all that duckweed on the surface of the water, I'll bet that when light craft like canoes and kayaks glide over it, the water looks practically black, the vegetation blocking nearly all the sunlight. Last year we kayaked a river in eastern North Dakota that was like that. This looks very inviting.
