Back to the starting point. What is new here is the paddle wheel steamer "Louisiana Star"(Mississippi style). This is only a sight seeing boat - no gambling on board like the Mississippi boats of bygone days.

I see there are lots of people to welcome us back and loads of interest in this shot with the 'non-gambling' steamer, a variety of architectural designs in the nearby buildings, and a lovely blue sky...beautifully composed, great clarity, and a super finish to your series...bravo Raj!
So much to look at and enjoy Raj. A really fine composition. The Mississippi Gambling Boats of bygone days are back Raj. They don't navigate the waters, they are just docked and called Casino's. Love the skyline and the shoreline. Wonderful series and thanks for inviting us along.
I was on a boat similar to this out of Dubuque Iowa some years back - only then they did leave the dock and of course there was gambling. Nice final shot Raj.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
Is this is still in Germany, Raj, or did you transport yourself to the American Gulf Coast? (I've been spending much of my time digging out a pain-in-the-behind tree stump out back I've had to neglect my commenting here at Caedes.) It's certainly an eclectic mixture of architecture--and boats--and I do see a few facades here that are of a teutonic flavor. A cool, inclusive capture.
If you've ever wanted to make a difference but found it hard to believe that one person could... check out the Kiva Team Caedes discussion thread and discover that anything is possible.
Where I'll leave all my money now, Raj? (😜)
Beautiful river view because of the boats (in particular the 'Louisiana Star'), buildings, and the beautiful clouds
