An interesting shot. The answer that came to mind...I always wondered what happened to Dorothy's house after it fell on the wicked witch of the east...lol. Looks very appropo in B&W.

I think this pic could be central to a great story.
This old house looks like it has a lot of tales to tell.
Glad you chose black and white-it is strikingly beautiful.

Not a carpenter. :) I absolutely love this image. Great find and capture, and I love that you did this in b/w.

Emptiness is not nothingness. It is simply the opposite of full of it.

Very nice photo and essential to be submitted in black & white. Those small buttresses along the side made me first think it was a small church or chapel. I think this is the sort of subject that would benefit (and us, too) from you going back and shooting the same scene, from the very same position, for all four seasons. Then clip a vertical quarter (or panel) of each seasonal shot, placing them side by side on a black field with a small strip of black between each. The first one on the left could be the far left quarter of the spring shot, then next one to the right be the second quarter of the sumer shot, then the third of fall, and the far right panel the far right of winter. It would look like we were looking through a segmented window, just as we see in this building, except we would see all four seasons through it.
