My co-worker has a whole series of photos he took of the interior of old paint cans when he was doing a much-needed inventory. He didn't include the outside area or the can itself, though...just the paint. It made for some very unique abstract images. Looking at yours here, though, I really like the organic surface the can is sitting on as contrast to the paint. The extreme DOF you used is also interesting, with only the paint itself in focus. I might have been tempted to raise the DOF so everything was in focus but this is quite unique and good as well. Into my favorites and a copy on to my co-worker so he can see that someone else sees the world in a similar tilt. Thanks.

I concur, definitely a worthy subject for a shot or two. The textures on that paint cry out for some fractal artist to mess around with the surroundings and shift us thru the portal into some other realm.
