Taken while in Chicago on a walk, can't remember the name of this, but it was impressive to me anyway.

Carol, although the urban environment with skyscrapers was somewhat misleading to me to determine which memorial was depicted by you, I'm quite sure now that it's the Gen John Logan memorial in Grant Park, Chicago, Illinois.
According to Wiki: "the monument was created during 1894 - 1897 and dedicated on July 22, 1897. Henry-Bonnard Bronze Company served as the founder, and additional assistance was provided by Daniel H. Burnham, Annette Johnson, and Mary Lawrence Tonetti."

Very well done. The lighting enhances the impressiveness of this statue!

A very dramatic expression of color, lighting, and depth-of-field, keeping the buildings in focus adding much more than any bokeh would have. A terrific submission, Carol.

The editing of your image really sets a dramatic mood - the statue and skyscrapers reveal the historic and the modern - Great Capture!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
