Close-up of our Christmas tree.
Canon 6D, lens 16-35mm, hand-held.
Cropped and adjusted slightly in Photoshop CS5, then a combination of Photoshop filters and masks used. The technique was the same as used in Cut Across, turned into a Photoshop Action.
I needed masks to bring out the dark blue baubles more, otherwise they would have been very dark.
Photographing these lights gave me a headache! Yow.

I'm glad you were willing to endure a wee headache, Sandra, for a big delight for us. Like many, when I was very young (and small enough) I would slide under the tree, long gazing at up-close views of the ornaments on our tree. This beauty really takes me back 60 years.
