It's gratifying to photograph nature, but one must understand that you can also get wet on a windy day. Thanks for your comments and advise, really appreciated.
Your picture shows me the strength of the sea and the resistance it faces when it comes upon the rocks. A metaphor of life's struggles. Our struggles. Both the shore and the sea want to win in this never ending competition. Good versus evil, right from wrong, decision versus indecision.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
Looking at this photo I would say that this was well worth the trouble. Superb capture of the spray hitting the rocks which look like a fortress. Nice and sharp details and textures in this shot Vicky.
Good shot of the waves breaking against the rock(s). It's also nice to see those who have been on here for awhile post now and then. I get a little sentimental over the people who have left for one reason or another. Anyhow, a great shot Vicki.
The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
Stone may tougher than water, in the immediate sense, but the broken rocks spilled below the precipice tell another story. At first I thought there was either a lot of spray in the air or your camera had difficulty differentiating between the strong contrasts... then I noticed the diminishing hills and realized I'm seeing fog. That explains a lot and makes it even more enticing for me... I love fog. Very mysterious.
