Been with our granddaughter (she is now two years old) for a week. Setting out our athletic shoes to dry on the balcony, thought it was kind of neat to take this photo. I must admit our grandkids sure do keep us busy, so I do have to catch up on viewing Caedes ... I love this site so much, it truly brings out our creativity and joy for the art of photography. Thanks for viewing.

Vicki, this is a typical image that isn't in need for a narrative to tell its story. It allows us to use our imagination to create an own story. To me it tells me the two 'tired runners' (😁) (being an adult and a young child) must have a close relationship/friendship.
I've read your narrative however, and wholehearted agree with you that Caedes brings us creativity and joy for the art of photography.
Your artistic and cute photograph may be an example for that.

One way to confuse demons and prevent them from entering your house is to place one shoe facing out the door and the other facing in. Thus making your home demon-free. I would guess putting two pairs of shoes in the doorway would drive them supremely crazy.

I could tell right away that these are the shoes of a granddaughter and grandmother. My wife does this sort of thing with our little granddaughters, to create a fun memory for the girls. Grannies rock, you know! Moms are usually so busy looking after every facet of the lives of their children, they sometime forget through their exhaustion.
