This is a photo of the top portion of the doorway to a small church that we visited on our hike in Mani, Greece, on Mount Virou ... the hike was 6 hours, all downhill, wonderous adventure, with really huge boulders. I just wanted to see what would happen if I made it black and white, kind of unusual, textures are kind of weird, but interesting. Thanks for viewing.

You live in a land of beauty, and history, with wonderful perpetual photo opportunities. You have an eye for the unusual and create thought provoking compositions. You are quite the "Spartan" for enduring that hike. My best wishes to you, Vicki, in the new contest.

The thumbnail doesn't do this one justice, Vicki. Textures like this, in architecture, belies the antiquity of the structure and the building methods. Good luck with it.
